Pamodzi Investment Holdings, the Black Management Forum Progressive Company of 2007, is the fund advisor of the US$1.3-billion Pamodzi Resources Fund I (PRF). The PRF seeks to deliver superior financial returns for investors and partners through investing in the resources and mine-to-market infrastructure sectors in sub-Saharan Africa. With support from the South African Government and the private sector, the Fund is uniquely positioned to capture rapid growth in the sector. The PRF enhances the black economic empowerment profile of its portfolio companies and partners, in line with South Africa's broad-based black economic empowerment codes of good practice and sectoral black economic empowerment charters. The fund management team, led by Gerard Kemp, one of South Africa's foremost resources experts, has more than 100 years of local and international experience.
